CAD IT S.p.A., leader in the Italian financial software market and listed in the STAR segment of Borsa Italiana, announces that it has been granted the contract for the supply of the “MA-Market Abuse” application platform and the relative specialist support services for monitoring of Market Abuse, Personal Transactions and Conflicts of interest for Poste Italiane S.p.A..
This news follows the one issued on May 20th 2013 on the occasion of market launch of the new “MA-Market Abuse” CAD IT’s platform, that has been enhanced in functionality and flexibility to enable to financial institutions to better respond to the new strict requirements imposed by the supervisory bodies regarding Market Abuse.
The platform developed by CAD IT is able to identify any market manipulation and insider trading suspicious transactions in accordance with the European and Italian Market Abuse regulations.
“MA-Market Abuse” application solution totally automates the collection procedure of the data to be processed and includes highly customizable search functions for potentially suspicious transactions. In order to identify the reasonableness of the suspicion and to notify the transactions to the market surveillance authorities, the inquiry function on the automatically reported transactions is supported by an information-rich work-flow which allows the user to easily and quickly manage the inquiry activities. The procedure also manages also the conflicts of interest register.
“MA-Market Abuse” is natively integrated with the Area Finanza procedure developed by CAD IT leader in the Italian banking sector for the management of financial instruments operations, but it can also be installed in banks, SIM and SGR that are not equipped with CAD IT software.
“MA-Market Abuse”, like all CAD IT procedures, is designed to be multi-platform, multi-branch and multi-language thus ensuring CAD IT customers maximum flexibility of choice.
The project includes the supply of the license to use the platform and the relative specialist services required for its integration and start-up as well as the relative ordinary and perfective maintenance.
